Volunteer
Find out how you can volunteer for college credit! Looking for something to do with your spare time? Come help out the Women’s Center! There are several opportunities available. We are looking for various skills from event planning and fundraising to artists and computer gurus. Please fill out our Volunteer form and let us know how much time you can share and what you’d like to do to help. Forms can be filled in electronically and emailed back to the center at womcen@clcillinois.edu or printed and dropped off at the center in person or mailed to the center at the following address:

The Giving Tree
The Giving Tree is sponsored by the Women’s Center and American Association for Women in Community Colleges. Our mission is to help students and their families when financial aid and assistance from local organizations isn’t enough to get them out of crisis, to help them succeed at CLC and in life.
How It Works:
Each student enrolled in the program is given a “goddess” name for anonymity. You can choose a goddess, then stop by the Women’s Center where we’ll have a list of specific needs for each individual. Once you decide on a donation you will be given a “leaf” from the Giving Tree listing the items.
Bring your donation and “leaf” to the Women’s Center and we will deliver them directly to the student in need.

- Restaurant Gift Card
- Cash
